The unique feature is the significant area of sand dunes, looking like the Sahara Desert landscape, between the resort and the oceanfront. Numerous people enjoy strolls or camel rides right here.

Palmitos Park is another attraction that you can see about 10km away from the coast from Maspalomas. It is really a n awesome oasis with lots of birds, in fact more than 200 species. Generally there are parrot shows several times during the day. During the birds of prey show, you can view american eagles and parrots flying out in the open. Palmitos Park has an exceptional butterfly house where you might walk among the plants and inspect the butterflies very close.
